Titans of the California design scene were also on hand to fête the designer. Rudin; Los Angeles–based ceramicist Heather Levine; and John Hart and Rachel Janowitz of Scott Group. Dancing With the Stars host Carrie Ann Inaba and choreographer Mandy Moore also turned out to celebrate.
“What an amazing night celebrating glamour on every level with people I love!” said Andrews. “It was the perfect way to celebrate the labor of love that is my first book, The New Glamour, and I was touched to be joined by so many friends and industry colleagues.”
David Rodgers Inc. transformed Jar restaurant with overscale flower arrangements by Joseph Free and photos of the designer’s work on the walls throughout the venue. The night ended with guests dancing to classic hits from Madonna, Janet Jackson and Prince, with industry heavyweights cutting a rug well past 10 p.m.
