Known for handmade seating, case goods, decorative art collections and lighting, Jean de Merry is opening a new showroom at the Pacific Design Center this summer. At 10,000 square feet, the space will feature 40-foot-high ceilings, skylights and room for 12-plus lines, among them Jean de Merry, Hamel + Farrell, Heijden Hume, Jean-Louis Deniot, Azadeh Shladovsky, Philip Nimmo, Natasha Baradaran and Alexander Lamont.

“Pacific Design Center was particularly appealing to us with its dynamic showroom space, which allows us to curate an exceptional buying experience while engaging the brand with new demographics,” said Jean de Merry co-founder Christian Darnaud-Maroselli. The company was founded 15 years ago, drawing inspiration from co-founder Jean de Merry’s family’s small French town, and working out of a Los Angeles workshop.

The new showroom will open on PDC’s 6th Floor, in Suite B653. Shares Charles S. Cohen, Pacific Design Center owner and president: “Jean de Merry is distinguished by their commitment to time-honored design practices and incomparable product innovation, and we are thrilled to welcome the brand to Pacific Design Center. This latest transition from the street into our design campus, complemented by ongoing momentum in new and expanding showroom leasing, continues to reinforce the value of the design center proposition beyond the retail experience.”
