Members of the Bay Area design community gathered to celebrate the West Coast debut of Symphony, the new Orlando Diaz-Azcuy collection for Matsuoka. Over 125 guests attended the event hosted by the Rudin family and Erika Heet of Interiors.
“It was really wonderful to celebrate Orlando and his newest endeavor. He truly is a design icon who continues to surprise and delight with his various projects,” said Ralph Rudin. “The Symphony collection for Matsuoka is just beautiful. We are so pleased to debut it first at A. Rudin and we’re thrilled that the San Francisco design industry turned out in such force to help us and Interiors magazine celebrate the introduction.”
Other notable attendees included Rita Rudin, Spencer Rudin and Evan Rudin of A. Rudin; Patrick O’Bryan of Interiors; Christian Plasman of Matsuoka; Pamela Babey of BAMO; Leanne Vanderbyl of Gensler; David Oldroyd of Orlando Diaz-Azcuy Design Associates (ODADA); and designer Gary Hutton.
