Elle Decor’s Project Earth

In 2021, Elle Decor launched Project Earth, an editorial initiative highlighting game-changers in sustainable design across the categories of furniture, interiors, architecture, landscape and urban planning. Project Earth is a celebration of accountability, renewal, transformation and humanity in holistic design at every scale. In the mission to promote resource-friendly living, Elle Decor was joined by seven brands dedicated to an Earth-first ethos: 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge, Arhaus, Beko, Flor, Herman Miller, Sherwin-Williams and The Container Store.

The eco-conscious event, held on October 5 at the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge, served as the culmination and celebration of this first-ever Elle Decor sustainable initiative, featuring green-inspired cocktails and farm-to-table canapes, music by DJ Isaac Likes, and engaging activation from sponsor partners. More than 125 A-list designers, architects, industry VIPs and creatives—including Leyden Lewis, Mikel Welch, Ghislaine Viñas, Misha Nonoo, Keita Turner, Everick Brown, Lisa Walker Brown, Zandra Pappas, Tatyana Miron Ahlers, Blandine Seguin and Corinne Hanson—joined Elle Decor editor in chief Asad Syrkett to toast going green in true New York City style with sweeping views of the skyline.
