Pierre Frey is seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced individual to lead
our new Chicago Showroom sales team. The showroom will showcase a full range of textiles, wallpapers, custom rugs, and furniture. The Showroom Manager will operate with a high level of autonomy and is responsible for guiding the team in sales performance, dedication, creativity, and strategic growth. This individual should demonstrate strong leadership, strategic sales skills, exceptional
communication and customer service abilities, solid technical proficiency, and a polished, professional presence.
The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of the interior design industry and servicing clients, will be able to manage the team effectively and proactively, oversee showroom operations and sales development. They will have an eye towards design and the ability to work with the Visual Merchandiser to keep the showroom decor looking fresh and clean. They will also be highly organized and willing to communicate openly with staff and management. Finally, they will be expected to participate in defining quarterly strategic directions with senior management and in implementing sales strategy.

• Maximize company sales growth by developing and leading a strong, cohesive team.
• Develop and implement sales strategies using Salesforce.
• Oversee the road program.
• Responsible for ongoing product knowledge and sales skills of the showroom staff.
• Foster a friendly, inviting, and professional presence on the sales floor.
• Oversee the maintenance of all showroom displays and merchandising.
• Promote our brands by engaging the customer and staff in creative activities and events.
• Previous sales and management experience.
• College education.
• Strong understanding of textiles, wallpaper, rugs, and furniture, and/or a degree in Interior Design.
• Excellent communication, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills.
• Computer skills – Salesforce, Microsoft Word & Excel, Instagram, etc.
