Job Description

Based on-site in our New York City showroom, we are seeking a Business Operations Assistant who will support existing team members to fulfill the varied and changing operational needs of our growing business. This is a new support role created for a detail-oriented, energetic, flexible individual interested in all the moving parts of luxury home furnishings business. We are a small, tight-knit entrepreneurial team that thrives on collaboration, and are propelled by a shared passion for Bunny, our brand, the products and where we are going.
This role is on site and reports to our Operations Manager with a dotted line to the Trade Business Manager.
Responsibilities:

OPERATIONS/LOGISTICS
1. Track / maintain showroom inventory (samples, stock)
2. 3rd party website order processing
3. Assist Operations Manager with returns and claims
4. Shipping logistics support: Assigning white glove 3PL carriers; BOL corrections when needed
5. General admin support, managing accurate compilation of all product info into a singular sheet for CS
6. Admin support as needed

TRADE/SALES SUPPORT
1. Send out client samples and inventory orders from showroom
2. Organize and maintain office sample library
3. Create client submittal packages as needed
5. Assist in scheduling follow ups for client presentations
6. Assist with preparing client presentations
7. Answering office phone calls as needed
8. Assisting with events, appointments, and showroom styling
9. Support Trade manager as needed.

ADMIN ACCOUNTING SUPPORT
1. Creating bills to support Accounting Manager
2. Light support as needed with time permitting

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
• 1 – 3 years in showroom/design firm or like business
• Strong attention to detail is critical
• Proficiency in all Microsoft applications
• Strong Excel knowledge (v lookup, pivot tables, etc.)
• Ability to multi-task
• Flexible nature comfortable with shifting priorities
• Comfortable learning new technology
• Strong communication skills
• Collaborative nature needed
• Entrepreneurial nature identifying opportunities and creating solutions
• Ability to sit in front of computer for many hours per day
• QuickBooks and Shopify knowledge a plus, but not mandatory
