Logan Killen Interiors is a boutique design practice founded by Katie Logan Leblanc and Jensen Killen, built on the belief that design holds the power to bring out the best versions of ourselves. We are seeking an experienced designer with strong project management skills to work closely with the Principals across all phases — from concept through design development, purchasing, and installation. The role blends design and project administration, and the right candidate thrives in both.
Project Leadership: Leading multiple projects end-to-end with principal guidance, supporting project planning and time management, and taking ownership of specific work streams.
Design Process: Supporting all phases from research and concept through installation, developing presentations, sketches, and renderings to communicate design intent. Lead the selection and specification of finish materials and furniture, building cohesive narratives and palettes that reflect the studio’s aesthetic
Technical Documentation: Creating furniture plans, elevations, details, and drawing/specification packages across schematic design, design development, and construction documentation phases.
Materials & Vendor Management: Leading materials sourcing, sampling, and vendor interfacing, while maintaining current knowledge of vendors and artisans.
FF&E Coordination & Procurement: Coordinating with FF&E and design teams on schedules and specifications, and supporting the Procurement Team with proposals and invoices.
Construction Administration & Site Management: Managing site visits, shop drawing reviews, workroom visits, installations, and client meetings during construction. Participating in project coordination and construction administration while maintaining quality control on-site as needed.
