Burnham Design is a boutique, full-service residential interior design studio seeking a part-time Junior Designer to join our team.
We’re looking for someone early in their career who is both creatively driven and highly organized—a rare combination. This role is for a self-starter who takes pride in details, moves quickly, and wants to be deeply involved in how beautiful projects actually come together.
This is a 3 day/week, in-person position.
What you’ll do:
Support the Principal in developing and executing design concepts, programming goals, and deliverables
Prepare client presentations, including mood boards and binders
Assist with AutoCAD drawings (plans and elevations)
Organize and document site meetings
Liaise with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
Maintain sample library, organize materials, and run project-related errands
Participate in installations and photoshoots
This is a hands-on role with real exposure to both the creative and operational sides of a design studio—ideal for someone who wants to learn quickly, contribute meaningfully, and grow.

Requirements:
Based in Los Angeles with reliable transportation
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Familiarity with local vendors and resources
Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, Pages, and FileMaker is a plus
A sense of style and a sense of humor are always appreciated.
