We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement / Purchasing Agent & Logistics Coordinator to manage vendor communications, place orders for goods and services, and coordinate deliveries for our interior design firm.
This role will collaborate with senior design leadership to drive projects as well as the senior finance manager and is crucial in ensuring accurate records as well as the timely and sound delivery of materials. The ideal candidate is excited by the idea of keeping many moving parts seamlessly working together.
This is an in-house, full-time position.
Responsibilities:
• Communicate with vendors from beginning to end of the ordering process - from accurate quotes to placing orders to final delivery, while maintaining up to date records throughout the process in Studio Designer
• Place orders for materials and furnishings based on project requirements and timelines
• Coordinate delivery schedules and ensure timely receipt of materials, keeping the design team aware of any schedule changes
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies with vendors promptly
• Manage multiple projects & tasks, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments
• Report project status to design team on a regular schedule
• Maintain company inventory and products
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in Interior Design/Procurement background or related field experience
• Strong communication (verbal and written)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Studio Designer, Harvest, Google Suite
