Overview (Part-Time/Hybrid):
We are seeking a highly organized and design-savvy Interior Design Assistant / Project & Procurement Manager to support the creative, technical, and operational aspects of high-end interior design projects from concept through installation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of design, logistics, and client delivery—someone who can keep projects beautiful and on track.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management-
Coordinate project timelines, milestones, and deliverables across multiple projects
Liaise with designer, clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution
Track project progress and flag risks, delays, or budget concerns
Procurement & Purchasing-
Source furniture, fixtures, finishes, lighting, and accessories in line with design intent and budget
Prepare and issue purchase orders; track approvals and deposits
Manage order tracking, lead times, shipping, and delivery schedules
Coordinate with vendors on pricing, availability, damages, and returns
Oversee receiving, warehousing, and installation logistics
Budget & Administration-
Track project budgets, procurement costs, and invoices
Reconcile vendor invoices and support client billing
Maintain accurate records for orders, warranties, and specifications
Qualifications & Skills:
2–5 years’ experience in interior design, project coordination, or procurement
Strong understanding of FF&E, sourcing, and vendor management
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Proficiency in Quickbooks
Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Preferred Attributes:
Experience working with high-end residential interiors
Familiarity with local and international suppliers and lead times
Detail-oriented with a strong sense of aesthetics
Calm under pressure and confident managing logistics
