Katie Ridder Inc is seeking a Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience working in a high-end residential interior design firm. You must bring with you extensive product and design knowledge. KRI is a small firm, so every staff member’s contribution is crucial for success. The ideal candidate will understand this and thrive in such an environment.
• Feels comfortable running a project from beginning to end.
• Creating paint/finish, lighting, drapery, and various other schedules.
• Creating budgets and maintaining them throughout the span of a project.
• Attending architecture, construction, and occasional design meetings. Taking detailed meeting notes and dispersing to all necessary parties after meetings.
• Overseeing client billing and generating proposals for payment.
• Creating detailed workorders and purchase orders.
• Working in CAD from time to time to assist the design staff.
• Managing project timelines and delegating tasks to the design team based upon installation timelines.
• Working with various artisans and workrooms around the world to help the design team execute one-of-a-kind designs, per the senior staff's planned vision.
• Managing installation schedules and providing on-site supervision during installations.

• Minimum 5 Years’ experience working for a high-end residential interior design firm.
• Past project experience working on ground-up construction projects and seeing them to completion.
• Likes working in a collaborative and creative office.
• Familiarity with high-end residential vendors and bespoke design work.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Proficient with Google spreadsheets
• Experience using Design Manager software on both the client proposal and vendor purchasing side.
• Comfortable with hand drawing/sketching and designing custom furniture pieces.
• Experience using AutoCAD and Adobe Photoshop.
• Is highly detail-oriented in both an administrative and design capacity.
• Ability to work with a heavy workload and comfortable working on multiple projects at a time.
• Strong ability to delegate to colleagues clearly and efficiently.
