Job Description:
We are hiring a results-driven sales leader for our B2B/trade arm, focusing on cultivating relationships and driving growth. Our B2B department sells directly to interior designers, architects, developers, hospitality and healthcare industries, contractors, collaborative partners and special events.
This role is a full-time individual contributor position focused on personally sourcing, closing, and growing trade accounts. While there is a clear path to leadership based on performance, the primary responsibility in year one is revenue generation, pipeline development, and disciplined execution within Alkemis’ existing systems and strategy.
The sales manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of all B2B sales activities nationally, including management of the CRM.
Role Evolution:
Alkemis is a growing startup, and this role is expected to expand and evolve as the business scales. Regular performance reviews will be conducted, and responsibilities may change based on company needs, demonstrated performance, and revenue impact. High performers will have the opportunity to grow into expanded leadership responsibilities, including account management oversight, ambassador coordination, or team leadership, as early as year two.

Excellent communication skills.

Outstanding organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical skills.
Experience implementing and maintaining an integrated CRM, including affiliate marketing, D2C, and B2B arms.
Advanced experience and refined presentation skills in Google Drive, Microsoft Office, and Shopify.
Essential Duties/Key Responsibilities:
Meet or exceed B2B revenue goals, including gross sales, LTV, and CAC.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication (phone calls and email) and general account management.
Responsible for day-to-day sales operations management, including qualifying leads, invoice generation for trade accounts, servicing trade accounts, trade account sample flow and follow up, and assisting the customer service team when applicable.
Document personal sales workflows and contribute to SOP development as requested
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing accounts, inclusive of ongoing 30/60/90 plan.
Develop and schedule presentations to A&D, developers, and other outlets to build and expand the client base
Maintain CRM accuracy consistently
Own relationship with Zoho, our current CRM provider
Contribute feedback to CRM optimization.
Develop regular pipeline reporting to be reviewed with leadership weekly.
Participate in regular performance and alignment meetings to review goals, scope, and evolving responsibilities.
Drafting personal annual sales plan within 60 days of onboarding, participating in strategy development for territory-focused growth.
Attend industry B2B conferences, meetings, and events.
Able to collaborate in a remote-first company spread across multiple time zones.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on business initiatives.
Help create and implement CEU program (per International Design Continuing Education Council/IDCEC standards)
Uphold a professional demeanor in collaboration with both internal and external teams, clients, and vendors.
Follow and uphold strict brand guidelines, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all platforms.
