RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Senior project management role
- This role supports the preparation client presentation materials, finish schedules, budgets, and samples with the support of a procurement manager colleague (HCD typically produces all deliverables mentioned above in a 60 day period for each new project)
- There is an exceptional amount of contractor and client interaction with this opportunity. An incoming colleague must be confident yet professional at all times when communicating on behalf of the studio
- The senior project manager will review all design documentation from the creative team and develop a true understanding of the overall design direction, project timeline and budget, and assume the responsibility of full project execution
- Following design approval, the senior project manager will serve as the liaison between HCD, the client and general contractor
- An incoming colleague must be comfortable effectively and directly communicating with the general contractor and have a familiarity with general construction as it pertains to interior design intent and specifications noted by HCD
- Ensure deadlines and quality standards are met as it pertains to HCD deliverables
- Ensure all client/contractor documentation and communication are clear and accurate
- Strong understanding of the general lifecycle of a full interior design renovation/build project and manage the overall calendar towards project completion
- Oversee procurement of all build finishes specifications that will be procured through HCD
- Prepare, lead and manage turnkey installations
- Prepare and execute punch list following installations

- Minimum 10 years experience in an interior design project management focused role
- Comfortable managing a minimum of 5 projects
- Has experience working in a remote environment (HCD is a fully remote studio with colleagues in San Francisco/Northern CA, Los Angeles, Nashville, NYC/Hudson Valley + Charleston, SC)
- Can multi-task and manage larger project calendar while working remotely
- Excellent notetaker and thoughtful organizer who is not afraid to ask questions, but can also take ownership of tasks without being asked
- Can-do “fire” from within, positive attitude, and professional demeanor
- Adaptable individual who is willing to step out of their comfort zone when necessary to get the job done
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented
