Exploring showrooms that cultivate a welcoming environment and exemplify diversity, equity and inclusion in their business practices, designers Ashley Ross and Victoria Sanchez lead a tour designed to close the gap in diverse buyers’ representation and acceptance in show- rooms. The half-day tour, organized by the Diversity Advocacy Alliance, will also share and support opportunities meant to advance participants’ education around buyer development and business sustainability. La Vida Es Bella: Mexican Modernist Textiles From the Marjorie Skouras Collection

For Marjorie Skouras, buying a historic home in Mérida sparked a passion for Mexican textiles, fashion, art and culture of the 1960s and ’70s. This exhibition will feature 24 vintage dresses from the 1970s that reflect the surrealist, modern and pop art movements of that era.
