7 breezy finds from a Turks and Caicos retreat

Drawing inspiration from a tranquil hotel project in Providenciales, Young Huh rounds up the furnishings and finishing touches that foster a sense of comfort at the island property.

Nestled by the white sands and turquoise sea of Grace Bay Beach in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos, is Point Grace, a secluded boutique hotel with only 30 private suites. New York designer Young Huh outfitted the poolside cottages, lobby and restaurant—as well as a number of additional public spaces and oceanfront suites—with pieces that highlight the surrounding scenery. “The island itself was the starting point: the quality of light, the softness of the landscape, the way color behaves against the sand and sea,” she says. “It called for a palette that felt both optimistic and relaxed.”
