The Women’s Association for Morristown Medical Center presented its 18th Mansion in May Designer Showhouse and Gardens this month at Alnwick Hall (“The Abbey”) in Morris Township, New Jersey, with over 60 participating designers and landscape designers. The showhouse is open to the public through May 31, and proceeds will benefit the Center for Nursing and Innovation at Morristown Medical Center. The showhouses have raised over $10 million for the Medical Center to date.
The designers—including Barbara Ostrom Associates, Diane Durocher Interiors, LeRoux Interiors, Olcott Square Interiors, Curren Design and Creative Wallcoverings & Interiors (CW&I), among others—transformed the 22,000-square-foot space, built during the Guilded Age for Edward P. Meany. The house was inspired by the Alnwick Castle in England and still has many of the original architectural elements designed by architect Percy Griffin.
