Home furnishings brand Parachute’s first-ever hospitality venture opened in Venice Beach, California, last month, with a 2,200-square-foot penthouse available for private stays, photo shoots and events. The Parachute Hotel is outfitted with the brand’s bedding and bath textiles as well as custom home furnishings and locally sourced amenities.

“We outfitted The Parachute Hotel with like-minded vendors, makers and local friends of the brand. Each piece was carefully considered, creating something utterly unique but at the same time familiar to the Parachute aesthetic,” said Scott Horne, who designed the concept with Peter Dolkas. (The pair also designed the brand’s showroom store.)

“Every aspect of The Parachute Hotel focuses, above all, on quality and craftsmanship—core tenets of the Parachute brand,” says Ariel Kaye, Parachute’s founder and CEO. “We wanted to create a space that would feel comfortable not only for a group of 30, but for a couple looking to relax on vacation. This is a really unique and immersive way to experience the Parachute lifestyle firsthand, and I know our customers are going to love it.”
