This full-time outside sales representative will call on residential and commercial interior design firms in the North Florida Territory.
This position includes:
Selling textiles, wallcovering and furniture to interior designers and architects for residential and contract/hospitality projects.
Prospecting firms and contacts to develop new clients as well as maintaining regular contact with existing client base.
Making product presentations to clients.
Securing appointments with designers and architects to present with visiting manufacturer reps, on occasion.
Respond to all applicable telephone and email inquiries within a timely manner.
Update firm’s libraries and present new products.
Willing and able to transport samples to clients in assigned territory, including the ability to move large rolling duffle bags and lift in and out of vehicle.
Participate in all applicable sales meetings/training sessions.
Participate in weekly staff/sales meetings.
Communication with internal showroom sales and customer service departments to build sales and provide excellent service to the clients.
Ideal candidate should have:
Experience in and knowledge of the A&D industry
Internal motivation, organization and self-discipline is key for this position
Strong people skills are necessary--written and verbal.
Computer skills.
Physical ability to transport large bags carrying road lines, catalogs, and sampling, etc. to clients within assigned territory.
