We’re in the full swing of fall market season—What’s New, What’s Next is a wrap, while the London Design Festival is underway. From trompe l’oeil wallpapers to hand-painted chandeliers, here are some of the most impressive launches from the latest round of releases.
Arteriors unveiled its second collaboration with Workshop/APD at WNWN. The collection features 25 material-driven designs across several categories, with highlights such as the interlocking, galaxy-marble-topped Melt coffee tables; the bronze-plated aluminum Inset mirror; and the Glaze pendant, a bowl-shaped beauty with a matte black ceramic shade.
Vaughan’s Stockbridge collection was on full display at New York Design Center. An ode to Hampshire, England, the launch introduces more than two dozen elegant, antique-inspired designs, including the 1930s-style Hordle mirror; the geometric Bridgehampton table; and our current crush, the Compiegne Leaf chandelier, a hand-painted marvel adorned in pressed steel leaves.
Rosemary Hallgarten’s Aurelie collection is brimming with architectural appeal. Now available in the brand’s 4th-floor showroom at 200 Lex, the sumptuous series showcases eight designs—five textiles and three floorcoverings—made in plush fibers with artful motifs, such as the painterly Gaia Watercolor upholstery, the outdoor-safe Moss fabric, and the fuzzy alpaca Condor Fifi rug.
French wallcovering brand Isidore Leroy tapped Chicago designer Claire Staszak of Centered by Design for its latest collaboration. The collection, called Mediterranean Reverie, draws inspiration from old-world European interiors and features six fanciful papers, such as the secret-garden-themed Paradis Perdu, the latticelike Treillage Bespoke and the millwork-esque Boiserie Moderne.
Iatesta Studio teamed up with Virginia designer Barry Dixon for an heirloom-quality collection that offers four artisan-made furnishings—including a tarnished-silver table with claw-and-glass-globe feet—alongside four lighting designs, such as the budding-bloom-inspired Magnolia Pod pendant and the antique-brass-accented Synapse pendant.
Hector Finch premiered a mélange of dazzling new designs during the London Design Festival. In addition to the acid-etched Aster pendant and the old-school-candlestick-inspired Charlotte table lamp, newcomers include the spun brass Sputnik ceiling light and the undulating Juno six-arm chandelier.
Aux Abris’s Kelmscott collection is a love letter to the Arts and Crafts movement. Adapted from archival patterns, the seven-piece line of wallcoverings is punctuated by earthy pigments and intricate woodcutlike prints, such as the metallic grasscloth Stained Glass, the jewel-tone Dragonfly and the William Morris–inspired Hedgerow.
In honor of Scofield’s 50th anniversary, Remains Lighting—the brand’s exclusive distributor—released a celebratory collection. The debut offers 13 handcrafted, historically informed designs ranging from the glass-enveloped Waterbury wall lantern to the octagonal Stamford flush mount and the Danbury pendant, a rustic eye-catcher with a three-lamp cluster suspended by a baby oval chain.
The Lawns called on ceramicist Laura Chautin to create the inaugural edition of its Artist Series. The collaboration boasts two hand-painted wallpaper patterns: a glossy trompe l’oeil design named Tablescape, and Meadow, a scenic stunner that can be printed on your choice of grounds: fiber (Linden), metal leaf (Gold) or porcelainlike varnished Nolar (Delftware).
Phillip Jeffries dropped its Fall 2024 House of PJ collection. The sweeping launch spans 16 wallcovering designs and more than 150 SKUs, with standouts such as the beaded Runway Rivets; the snake-clad Serpent; the veneer-inlaid Spellbound; and Raffia With a Twist, an ultratextural number outfitted in tiny hand-knotted bows.
