Design brand HAY partners up with Danish chef on kitchenware

HAY, founded in 2002, by Rolf and Mette Hay and Troels Holch Povlsen, is known for its reasonable price point and trademark Danish design. For this collection, which debuted August 22 at the MoMA Design Store, Danish chef and restaurateur Frederik Brahe was called in to edit the top kitchen accessories.

It's not the first partnership between HAY and Brahe; the partners also worked together on opening a cafe at 2016 Milan Design Week.

Among the items in the newly debuted collection: handmade glasses from Morocco, water pitchers from India and sponges from Japan, among a wide selection of kitchenware, including everyday pieces such as pots, pans, grinders, cutting boards and peelers, as well as plates, cups, glasses and cutlery. Also featured are specially designed products from HAY, BIG-GAME, Shane Schneck, Clara Von Zweigbergk, Richard Woods and George Sowden.
