Procurement and Studio Operations Coordinator
Company: Kennerknecht Design Group
Duration: Full-time
Date Posted: 10/14/26
Category: Office Management
Location: Hamilton
Salary: 50-100k
Job Description

We are hiring a Procurement and Studio Operations Coordinator. This hybrid role pairs procurement logistics with core studio operations, giving central support to our principal and design team. It suits a proactive operational anchor who thrives on precision, urgency, and seamless execution, and who resolves bottlenecks before they affect project timelines or the client experience.
What You'll Do
- Lead procurement: place purchase orders, track lead times, expedite shipments, and verify deliveries across all active projects.
- Coordinate receiving and white-glove delivery details. Update the team and flag risks such as delays, backorders, and schedule conflicts. Run reports for review.
- Keep task tracking and procurement records current in Studio Designer and Asana.
- Keep the studio clean, organized, stocked, and client-ready. Prepare the space for client appointments and vendor presentations.
- Provide administrative support: vendor visits, errands, mail, scheduling, supplies, and the materials and sample library.
- Coordinate Monday morning team meetings, team events, and employee enrichment activities.
- Manage client and employee gifting, including holidays, birthdays, and in-office celebrations.
- Reconcile credit cards and coordinate with our remote accounting team.
You'll Thrive Here If You Are
- A self-directed operator who runs with clear instructions and anticipates next steps.
- Driven by urgency and accuracy, with a talent for managing shifting priorities.
- Detail-focused, spotting missing information early and following through to completion.
- Collaborative, bringing a friendly, open, and respectful presence to the studio.
This Is Not a Fit If You
- Do not enjoy execution-focused, detailed administrative work.
- Prefer a slow-paced environment without tight deadlines.
- Want to work remotely. This is a 100% in-office role in Hamilton, MA.

Job Requirements

Requirements
- Experience in interior design, procurement, supply chain, or studio operations. An interior design background is helpful.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and Asana. Studio Designer experience is required, or a proven ability to ramp up very quickly.
- A track record of meeting deadlines, tracking complex logistics, and working independently.
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication for vendor and occasional client coordination.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree and familiarity with high-end residential procurement workflows.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: competitive, based on experience.
- W2 full-time.
- Health and dental insurance, disability insurance, 401(k) with 3% company match, paid time off, and paid family and medical leave.
