We are hiring a Senior Interior Designer to carry high-end residential projects from concept through final installation. - Manage schedules, fee tracking, and budgets. Oversee sourcing, custom detailing, and FF&E procurement, working with our Procurement Coordinator.
- Produce and review space plans, FF&E selections, interior elevations, millwork details, and full construction drawing sets.
- Run daily task tracking in Asana and perform quality control reviews on drawing sets.
- Mentor junior designers on drafting standards, vendor sourcing, and workflows.
- Report to the Principal with regular updates on project status and client satisfaction, flagging roadblocks early.
- Partner with the Principal on project photoshoots and installation-day styling.
- Build and maintain our vendor and material library, and represent KDG at showhouses, trade events, and in the Boston design community.
You'll Thrive Here If You Are
- A proactive project lead who anticipates needs and keeps deliverables moving.
- Rigorous with technical precision in drawings, specifications, and tracking.
- A solution-oriented problem solver who spots details early and follows through.
- A warm, collaborative studio anchor and supportive mentor.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design and 10+ years of professional experience.
- Proven end-to-end project management in luxury residential design.
- Strong communication, presentation, leadership, and time management skills.

- Working knowledge of building codes, including accessibility, safety, and sustainability.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- NCIDQ certification, or interest in earning it, is a plus.
- Software: advanced Revit, Studio Designer, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace, rendering software, Bluebeam, Asana.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: competitive, based on experience.
- W2 full-time.
- Health and dental insurance, disability insurance, 401(k) with 3% company match, paid time off, and paid family and medical leave.
