Italian craft e-commerce brand Artemest has debuted a pop-up shop at publisher Assouline’s flagship store in London. Running through June 18, the concept will spotlight products from a selection of Italian artisans and designers.
Also unfolding at the store: a series of short documentaries exploring Italian craftsmanship. “Artemest was born to arouse and celebrate a desire for beauty in our everyday lives that is something that perfectly aligns Artemest values with the ones of Maison Assouline,” says Artemest co-founder and creative director Ippolita Rostagno.
Artemest’s e-commerce site was launched in 2015, designed to showcase the work of some 270-plus Italian artisans working with wood, Murano glass, marble, ceramics and precious metals. The site features more than 7,000 luxury home decor products and pieces of high-end furniture.
“Our plan is to expand the Artemest presence also offline and to promote tradition, culture and excellence of Italian craftsmanship throughout the world,” says co-founder and managing director Marco Credendino.
The pop-up is located at Maison Assouline, 196A Piccadilly, London.
