- Maintain our showroom with a creative and knowing eye for design and display.
- Proactively merchandise and strategize about product assortment, new brands to sell, and showroom refresh.
- Assist in managing showroom inventory.
- Reach out to designers, current clients and potential clients, on a regular basis.
- Provide professional services to clients in person and via email, website and phone.
- Oversee our showroom website, adding new items and making updates.
- Build strong clientele relationships.
- Continually grow the sales of the showroom through focus and creativity.
- Facilitate product fulfilment and special orders.
- Be proactive in creative marketing, event planning, social media engagement and hosting.
- Work with our interior design team to fill their project needs from the showroom.
- Work with our product development team regarding our many inhouse collections.
- Have an aptitude for balancing the above in an ever-changing and energized environment.
- College degree in interior design or related/applicable subject.
- 5+ years of experience in interior design, high-end retail and/or showroom management.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Proficiency in job related computer programs.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical and decision-making skills.
We are a nationally known Manhattan-based interior design firm and to the trade home furnishings showroom. We are in search of a candidate with an interior design or related degree along with experience in interior design, high-end retail and/or showroom sales and management.
