Ellen DeGeneres has released ED Ellen DeGeneres Crafted by Thomasville, a new line that includes over 100 pieces and offers designs in two distinct styles: Relaxed Mid-Century and Rustic Modern.
“I’m thrilled to partner with Thomasville on this unique furniture collection,” says DeGeneres. “ED is an extension of my lifestyle and is inspired by who I am as a person. ED is things that I see as a necessity and things that are playful, too. It’s design I want to share with everyone.”
The furniture line draws inspiration from items found in the comedian and design aficionado’s homes. The Relaxed Mid-Century collection is characterized by a blend of Danish- and Italian-inspired wood product that feature hand-skived walnut veneers in a warm, dry finish fitted with brass hardware as well as cane, bronzed glass and leather accents.
The Rustic Modern collection is defined by DeGeneres’s passion for Scandinavian antiques and includes knotty white oak finishes with stone and metal accents, and details including dark oak veneers and tribal-motif carvings.
“We are pleased to unveil the ED Ellen DeGeneres Crafted by Thomasville furniture collection at a select number of our licensed Thomasville partners and at our corporate stores,” says Pierre de Villemejane, president and chief executive officer at Heritage Home Group, parent company of Thomasville. “Later this year, the ED Ellen DeGeneres Crafted by Thomasville collection will be available across the country. This exciting new collection is a reflection of Ellen’s love of interior design.
“Our collaboration has resulted in an extensive whole-home collection of over 100 curated items that reflect Ellen’s iconic style, values and personality. We are confident that ED by Ellen DeGeneres Crafted by Thomasville will demonstrate a fresh new aesthetic that will resonate with brand loyalists and millennials alike.”
