We're looking for an interior designer to join our team. This candidate will be responsible for leading projects from conception through execution and installation and will act as the client’s main point of contact through the design process. The project manager will be involved in all phases of the project including client meetings, design schemes, workroom visits, vendor meetings, installations and photoshoots. This candidate will work directly with the Creative Director and will collaborate with the Operations Manager and other designers and in the office.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, will be a self-starter with the ability to take the lead on tasks, and maintain client and vendor relationships. They will be able to source fabrics and materials for design schemes, create and oversee work orders and purchase orders, and effectively manage their time to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Job Requirements
● 2-5 years of Interior Design Project Management experience
● Deep understanding of new home construction and remodeling
● Strong detail orientation and organizational skills
● Ability to prioritize and delegate in order to meet deadlines
● Excellent people management and communication skills
● Knowledge of quality high-end and custom furniture, art and antiques
● Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
● Excellent problem solving skills
● Enthusiastic and positive approach
● Team player
● Resourceful
● Professional personal presentation required
● Profi ciency in AutoCAD
● Knowledge of Adobe Suite programs
● Ability to interpret architectural drawings and sheet sets
● Understanding of design and construction terms, scheduling and planning
concepts
● Studio Designer experience preferred
● Must have car and active drivers license
