Susan Lin Design is a full-service interior and commercial design firm based in South Florida. In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of a project from inception to installation. You must be detail-oriented, adaptable and self-motivated.
Overview of Job Responsibilities:
- Develop Construction Documents including floor plans, RCP, elevations, and millwork details
- Design, source and compile FF&E, including finishes, fixtures, fabrics, furniture, hardware, lighting,
rugs, accessories and art in collaboration with the design team
- Develop 3-D renderings
- Source, create, and manage purchasing, proposals and budgets for projects
- Work with hired general/sub-contractors to execute construction aspects of renovations
- Answer RFI’s during project construction and bidding phase
- Work with the senior designers to pull together overall project concepts and design solutions
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited institution
- Minimum 2+ years experience in high-end residential design. Commercial experience a plus
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop and Enscape (or other rendering software)
- Have strong communication skills in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment
- Excellent management and multi-tasking skills
