Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and driven People Operations Manager to join our close knit team. The candidate will be responsible for multiple disciplines such as human resources, systems and operations, company culture, communication and organizational development. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of people operations experience in a startup environment and a proven record of getting things done.

You will provide vital support to the organization’s talent goals and business partnership in aspects of human resources (HR), recruiting, organizational development, culture, and employee happiness.

Job Requirements

Implement human resources programs by providing human resources services, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health, and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, compliance, and labor relations; completing personnel transactions.
Create, manage and execute a formal onboarding and offboarding process for the firm.
Optimize and manage current performance review process for all employees.
Manage outside consultant responsible for payroll processing and providing functional support for incentive programs
Create a culture of open and honest transparency and be an trusted partner for all employees
Develop human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action.
Improve manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and employees.
Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
