Overview
We’re seeking a Junior Designer with a refined eye and a genuine love of craft to join our studio. This role is ideal for someone eager to deepen their design practice while contributing to the creative and technical execution of residential and commercial projects. You’ll collaborate closely with senior designers and take ownership of your own deliverables, helping transform ideas into tangible, elevated spaces.
Responsibilities:
- Develop design concepts, presentations, and digital models that capture the studio’s vision
- Create detailed drawings, renderings, and documentation using AutoCAD and SketchUp
- Source materials, finishes, and furnishings that balance beauty and function
- Coordinate with vendors and fabricators throughout the procurement process
- Support site visits, installations, and client meetings with professionalism and care
- Maintain project organization and timelines with meticulous attention to detail
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field
- 0–2 years of experience in a design studio or creative environment
- Proficiency in Google Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with curiosity and initiative
Compensation & Benefits
- 30 hours per week (part-time plus benefits)
- Annual salary: $60,000–$80,000, commensurate with experience
