About our Company

Studio Dorion is a design firm based in Brooklyn, NY, led by Michelle Ficker and Peter Dolkas. With a combined twenty years of experience at AD100 firms, the principals established their practice in 2020 to offer an integrated approach that brings interior design and architecture together into one cohesive, full-service practice. The team creates custom spaces with depth, character, and quiet elegance. The studio's approach to design is guided by the idea that an interior should have a cohesive narrative, drawing inspiration from the past to create timeless environments attuned to modern life. With a strong belief that style and quality go hand in hand, the team collaborates with local artisans to create heirloom-quality furnishings and encourages clients to invest in collectible vintage pieces—creating lasting interiors that honor both craftsmanship and sustainability.
