In the International Home Furnishings Center, don’t miss Nathan Anthony’s Bear chair, 
a voluptuous design by Nathan Anthony Mai, the son of the brand’s principals Tina Nicole and Khai Mai (IH-602). Hop over to Showplace to check your hair (or take a selfie) in Surya’s wavy-lined Arklow mirror (Suite 4100), but don’t leave without pulling up to Tov Furniture to test the outdoor-ready 1970s-inspired Jayla rattan bench (Suite 1850). Pop into Universal Furniture while you’re still in the hood to admire the Slate dining table’s heavily veined black marble top and sleek cone-shaped metal base.

At 200 North Hamilton Street, explore Hickory Chair’s newly opened showroom and seek out the Haret chair, an outdoor-friendly powder-coated aluminum seat with fretwork detailing (Suite 300). Don’t exit the building without checking out Lisa Kahn’s latest designs for Chelsea House, particularly the Celestial candle sconce, a gold-trimmed charmer bedecked in antiqued glass (Suite 104). Stop by 315 Fred Alexander Place and feast your eyes on Precedent’s semicircular Slater bed in all its geometric glory (Floor 3). And before you leave the neighborhood, head to Abner Henry for the art deco–style Marelli console, which features soft vertical lines that will perk you up faster than a shot of espresso.

At Market Square, do yourself a solid and head straight to Shoppe Object 
in Suites 330 and 348, where you’ll swoon over Tantuvi’s neon-hued Grid outdoor rugs and Dove and Donkey’s colorful handmade Hopsack napkins. Once you regain your composure, step inside 220 Elm to pore over Cattelan Italia’s Miranda ML chair, a cashmere leather-clad cutie modeled after the shape of an open oyster shell (Suite 308). Don’t leave the area without popping into the Suites at Market Square to scope out Maison Maison’s trippy marbleized lamp shade designs for Zafferano America (G-6020) or The Mural Source’s Maysong Ivory design (G-6059)—its soft-toned flowers will transport you straight into a sunny garden.

Stop by Currey & Company to bask in the beauty of the Abyssinia chandelier by Ian Thornton—an exuberant design adorned in hand-bent, silver leaf–finished fronds. If you make an appearance on Saturday between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., you can also meet legendary designer Vicente Wolf and get a signed copy of his latest book, Creative Interior Solutions.

Vintage hunters will unearth a curated assortment of one-of-a-kind finds at 
the neighborhood’s antiques destinations, such as 214 Modern Vintage—which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year—and more than 30 exhibitors housed in Chelsea on Green. At Theodore Alexander, flock to the Strata credenza, a two-toned dreamboat with carved maple door fronts and metal leaf accents.
