We’re in the holiday homestretch, and joyful new collections are launching left and right. From hand-painted ceiling-light shades to side tables made with lava stone, warm up to these festive releases this weekend.
French interior designer Laura Gonzalez’s Landscapes collection is on full display at her New York showroom. Among the highlights from the fashion-forward line, which was inspired by Parisian artist Fabien Conti’s vibrant paintings, are the freeform Murano glass Mon Rocher lamp, the marble-topped sky blue Vanity Ciel bedside table, and the Colline sofa, a sunset-hued beauty with a curved back and rolled arms.
Hwang Bishop’s Bloom collection is brimming with botanical appeal. The 18-piece line includes sconces, pendants, ceiling lights and table lamps—plus a highly collectible, one-of-a kind chandelier—punctuated by petal-shaped ceramic shades and colorful glazes in hues like glossy red Poppy and matte green Meadow Moss.
Young Huh’s debut wallcovering for Fromental is a hand-painted homage to Korean folk art. Based on a bespoke style the New York designer crafted for her own home, Soru is named after the country’s ancient towers and pavilions and features a dreamy landscape complete with cranes, clouds, pine trees and a pink ombre sky.
Jerry Pair’s Heifertless collection will give your clients something buttery soft to cuddle up on this cold-weather season. The series boasts seven lightly buffed leather designs with suede-like hands and stain-resistant resin coats in shades such as creamy beige Dune, reddish brown Siena and dark bluish gray Slate.
RF Studio unveiled Rituals, a line of nature-inspired furnishings that channels its designs for the Yayasan Bali Purnati cultural center in Indonesia. Handcrafted by Balinese artisans, the collection comprises 17 pieces made from locally sourced materials, such as a woven bamboo folding screen, a burnt teak wood chair and a side table with a lava stone base.
Sunbrella dropped 44 fresh high-performing SKUs by Colorado textile brand Sien + Co. The texture-rich newcomers, which come in several earthy shades, include the banded Cortina, the flowery Floris, the diamond-patterned Oro, the chevron Sierra, the tonal Hila, the graphic Pista, the checked Pocu and the speckled Suelo.
Copenhagen-based surface design studio Blēo collaborated with Dutch artist Sabine Marcelis on a line of colored glass tiles. Offered in two distinct finishes—glossy and frosted matte—the collection reimagines the latter’s prismatic Candy Cubes as 13 brilliant styles in shades such as bright pink Bubblegum, pale yellow Butter and silvery white Salt.
Stout Textiles called on North Carolina performance upholstery brand InsideOut for the Brightside series. The collaboration offers 46 sophisticated weather-safe styles in multiple colorways, with standouts such as the two-tone geometric Tripoli, the striped Tennyson, the ditsy floral Daisey, the striated Desert and the tweed-esque Rapport.
Ceiling light brand Tulip tapped a trio of rising makers for its new Artist Collective series. The limited-edition launch introduces 30 linen shades—10 by each artist—adorned in delightful hand-painted motifs. There are butterfly appliqué–clad styles by Monica Magsanoc; a flora-and-fauna-fueled line by Nathan Bell; and a characterful collection of figural illustrations by Wyatt Bunce.
Cannon Schaub debuted the Crave Collection, the inaugural textile line from her artisan-driven furniture brand The Crave Collective. Woven in Europe at heritage mills, the crystalline-colored series features three sumptuous fabrics—the ikat chenille Calliope; the moiré Clio; and the shimmery, silk-infused Erato—alongside two sheer wool styles: the patterned Hera and the gossamer Juno.
Room & Board released a trio of artisan-made pendants designed in collaboration with Italian lighting brand Fabbian. Handblown in Veneto, Italy, using centuries-old glassmaking techniques, the pieces include the gently rounded Mochi, the billowing Cloudy, and Sfera, a spherical stunner with a subtly rippled surface, all three of which are available to the trade through the Room & Board for Business program.
