Running concurrently with the Las Vegas Market (Jan. 18 to 22), the city's Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) and the International Builders' Show will bring designers and buyers from across the country to the Las Vegas Convention Center for the second annual Design & Construction Week Jan. 20 through 22.

With the debut of the all-new KBISNext stage, which will feature special programming and the second edition of Modenus BlogTour Vegas, which brings top industry bloggers together to gather tips and trends throughout KBIS, the show is sure to appeal.

KBIS 2014

KBIS organizers describe KBISNeXT as a destination for discovering the next ideas, trends and innovations in the kitchen and bath industry.

“We’ve added an additional 500,000-sf of exhibition space to the show floor, which allowed us to develop an arena that offers thought provoking, inspired ‘on-floor’ programming, as well as additional exhibit space,” said Brian Pagel, VP kitchen and bath group Emerald Expositions. “KBISNeXT is the next big thing; the next set of ideas; the next in contemporary design; and the next reason to attend KBIS."

Located in the South Hall, KBISNeXT will feature a stage, a “tech bar” and the FutureHaus Kitchen, presented by Virginia Tech. It will also showcase more KBIS exhibitors, the popular Best-of-KBIS Awards and the show’s newest award program, the Innovative Showroom Awards, which KBIS will present with the Hearst Design Group and the National Kitchen and Bath Association to the best of the best in showroom and booth design.

The KBISNeXT Stage will feature unique programming each day of the show, happening in the morning, at lunchtime and during the late afternoon. Programs will include topics like The Modern Family, Designing for Multi-Generational Living, SEO By Design, Design Around the World, The Designer and The Builder—A Relationship, and Modenus Talks—Leveling the Playing Field.

BlogTour Vegas is back for a second edition this year

In addition, KBIS will welcome a new band of Modenus BlogTour bloggers to scour the market and report on the latest trends and innovations in kitchen and bath—which according to Veronika Miller, founder and CEO of Modenus.com and the organizer of Modenus BlogTour, is a huge honor.

“Design and Construction Week is arguably the largest design and remodeling event in the country,” she said. “Being able to bring our largest group of bloggers ever and to also host our own daylong summit ‘Modenus Talks’ makes this tour one for the record books."
