From the sights and sounds of the very first trade show of the year—the Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Market—2015 promises to be an exciting year for design.

Fresh off the holiday break, interior designers headed to Atlanta to be inspired and to source new product, and Editor at Large chatted with Kerry Howard, Lindsey Coral Harper, Michelle Workman and Denise McGaha about what they found and loved. Read on for some highlights.

Kerry Howard, Principal and Founder of KMH Interiors

Palacek’s Adrift CoCo Wall Décor

“I’m all about texture, and when I saw this amazing piece hanging in Palecek I fell in love—not only with the texture, but how they framed it out in the Acrylic frame.”

Barbara Cosgrove Lamp

“Turquoise is my favorite color, especially when it's combined with scaled texture and a matte gold base.”

Leftbank Art’s Lucid Flow II

“This makes for a big wow in any space. I love how the gold is very fluid throughout the painting.”

“In addition, one of my favorite events to attend was a reception for Design Camp held at Currey & Company on Saturday afternoon. It was a who's-who of designers and industry partners alike. You never want to miss any event that Currey & Company puts on. Its sure to be a good time had by all.”

Lindsey Coral Harper, Principal and Founder of Lindsey Coral Harper Interiors

Bilboa Chandelier from Solaria Lighting

“It is a fun take on a sputnik chandelier. I love that you can customize this piece by having it painted any color on the exterior. The interior of the fixture is available in gold or silver leaf.”

Fluted Drinks Table by Mr. Brown London

“I love the simplicity and the versatility of these tables because the bases are available in both a silver and gold and they offer the tops in so many different finishes! I really like the colorful faux shagreen selection. This is a very easy way to get a custom look.”

Cow Hair Geometric Area Rugs from Madisons Inc.

“I love a geometric motif on the floor, and this comes in several patterns and is available in standard sizes. Bonus: they're already felted on the back.”

“My favorite moment had to be sitting on a panel with Elizabeth Blitzer and Mac from Mecox Gardens, moderated by Marisa Marcantonio. Our topic was ‘Building Your Brand in the Digital World.’ I love engaging with and sharing my experiences with an audience. Typically when I sit on a panel I learn just as much as the audience does, if not more!”

Michelle Workman, Principal and Founder of Michelle Workman Interiors

Sheer Printed Silk Scarves by Thomas Paul

“These are light and airy with bright silk tassels—perfect summer wrap or throw.”

Lobelia Walnut Coffee Table by Eban & Co.

“Its multifaceted ‘cut’ is strong and masculine and yet reminds me of a gemstone. It's a great conversation piece.”

Lisa Jarvis Hardworks, Jewelry for Furniture

“Lisa keeps bringing fresh hardware designs to market, and I continue to be impressed.”

“My favorite moment? While taking a break in the new Designer Workspace I watched my mom fall asleep in 2.5 seconds, then she started snoring …Priceless."

Denise McGaha, Principal and Founder of Denise McGaha Interiors

Woven Rattan Pendants by Currey & Company

“I love how they have a vintage feel but would work so beautifully in a modern space. I want to use them over a pair of bedside tables in a project we are designing.”

Navy Pillows by CODARUS

“I love the ethnic and graphic pattern, not to mention how great they will look in a crisp white sofa.”

“I also loved meeting up with Kerry Howard in his beautifully designed vignette for AmericasMart. The energy in that room provided by Kerry and his designs was palpable.”
