The Red Dot Award ceremony will honor the year's best designers and products on June 29 in Essen, Germany, where, in its 60th year, the awards and attendant gala will host designers, manufacturers and media. Hosted by Awards founder and professor Peter Zec, the awards will recognize just 81 of the nearly 5,000 nominated entries. Among the home product design winners are the Lucky chair by design firm Design Ballendat; the Rolf Benz NOVA Sofa by designer Joachim Nees; the LALILU kids' loft bed by Designteil; and the Mylon table by Team 7 Natürlich Wohnen GmbH.
