Debbie Propst, the president of One Kings Lane, has opened her New Canaan, Connecticut, home, newly designed by The Studio at One Kings Lane, as part of a showcase of the brand’s own products.
Guests were recently invited inside One Kings Lane Connecticut House to learn more about the brand, view the furnishings and decor offerings in situ, and meet with the in-house design team (The Studio) for one-on-one appointments.
The showhouse meets real house was conceived as a way to introduce consumers to One Kings Lane’s product in person, as well as to The Studio’s design services, which are available for reimagining entire homes or providing finishing touches to single rooms.
The Studio developed the design plans and oversaw installation for the entryway, foyer, living room, eat-in kitchen, pantry, sitting room, family room and dining room of the architectural farmhouse framework.
The house, which spans over 4,500 square feet and has four bedrooms and three and a half baths, features some 175 products from One Kings Lane, including furnishings, rugs, lighting and accessories. Almost all of the items are shoppable online. The home also features work by area artists, including Kathryn Warren, Kimberly Petersen, Linda Colletta and Nell Waters Bernegger.
For those so inspired, beginning April 21, The Studio from One Kings Lane will be offering in-home design consultation services for customers on Fridays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., by appointment.
