DesignIntelligence has released its annual list of the country’s best architecture and design schools. The survey reached 2,920 hiring professionals, 145 deans and 3,742 students in the fields of architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, and industrial design. The ranking is based on the perspective of top practitioners, who were asked: “In your firm’s hiring experience in the past five years, which schools are best preparing students for a future in the profession and designing a sustainable future?”

The New York School of Interior Design (NYSID) undergrad program ranked No. 1; its graduate program ranked No. 2. Pratt Institute was named the top graduate program for interior design.
