New fabric collections by John Robshaw for Duralee and Jonathan Adler for Kravet will debut later this year in showrooms.

Romanticized by the allure of India and Asia, Robshaw has captured the aesthetic of traditional artisans and translated it for the updated Western world through his textiles. Blending cultures and techniques, Robshaw has created his own signature look of sophisticated exoticism with designs that are new and fresh, and yet retain their sense of handmade tradition.
For the first time, John has ventured into woven designs in addition to his signature prints — all of which reflect the colors of nature with a touch of the saturated tones of the East.
“By making textiles, I get to become a minor character in the lives of the people I work with, and I can take inspiration from what I see and do there," said Robshaw. "I go to their weddings, celebrate their festivals, I get sick with them, drink tea with them, and develop relationships with the people who are teaching me. When you look at my textiles, I want you to feel like you’ve been on the world tour along with me.”
