In a special auction partnership with Chairish, designer and blogger Emily Henderson will be auctioning off items from her personal collection of vintage paintings, textiles, rugs, decor and furniture, all priced at a starting bid of $1. Selected items for sale will be available to preview today; the auction opens tomorrow, April 19, at 8 a.m. EDT, and ends on Thursday, April 21, at 10 p.m. EDT.

“With my growing business and family, it was time that my children’s space took priority over my ever-growing collection of furniture and decor. Chairish’s new auction format let me quickly list and sell some of those hard-to-part-with items to people who care about design, want to score great finds, and whom I know will love my items as much as I do,” says Henderson.

Chairish Auction is an accompaniment to the online marketplace’s traditional service; it allows clients to sell their wares inexpensively and quickly. “The Chairish Auction is a killer addition to our business model. Our new format offers a turnkey solution for time-sensitive sellers as well as a fun way for buyers to access fabulous vintage finds at ‘gotta-go’ prices. Our Chairish Auctions’ inventory will meet the same style criteria as the rest of our curator-approved items for which we are known and loved. We expect our new Auctions to be a must-see event for design lovers,” says Chairish co-founder and president, Anna Brockway.
