Lee Broom, design brand Nude and contemporary British restaurant Aqua Shard are teaming up in time for the holidays on a sophisticated handcrafted Christmas tree composed of 245 individual pendant lights in the shape of The Shard skyscraper in London. Designed by Broom and crafted by Nude in Istanbul, “The Tree of Glass” is a modernist sculptural Christmas tree that will be showcased at Aqua Shard beginning November 14.

Broom’s featured pendant lights will be available for purchase on November 15, with proceeds benefiting two British Red Cross fundraising programs: the U.K. Solidarity Fund, which raises money for those affected by terrorism in the UK, and the London Fire Relief Fund, which assists those impacted by the fire at the Grenfell Tower residential complex earlier this year.

The restaurant will also offer a dessert and cocktail, sold throughout November and December, with 50 percent of the sales going to the British Red Cross.
