Project Design 2016, the new redesign of Ronald McDonald House Southwest Florida, will be unveiled March 3, featuring the work of 20-plus interior designers. Suzanne Costa of Suzanne Costa Interiors is the event’s design chair, Thom Filicia is the honorary design chair, and the Project Design committee includes RMH Southwest Florida executive director Laura Ragain and designers Lisa Kravet, Emilio Sadez, Tye Davis and Kristen Williams.

For the project, which is supported by Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Florida, Kravet Inc., and Home & Design magazine, all of the original bedrooms, as well as the original kitchen, dining room, common areas, restrooms, laundry room and flooring, will be completely renovated.

Among the participating designers are Constance A. Trutwin Interiors, Dwayne Bergmann, Elliott Design & Interiors, Ficarra Design Associates, Interiors by Design West, J.A. Willy Gallery, Jeffrey Fisher Home, Jett & Company, Jett Thompson Antiques and Interiors, Kahn Design Group, KW Development & Design, KVS Interior Design, Mercedes Courland Interiors, Pure Design of Naples, Roz Travis Interiors, Schlegel Design Group, SOHO Kitchens & Design, Suzanne Costa Interiors, Vanessa DeLeon, Wright Interior Group, and Weglarz Design.

“As design chair and RMH Long Island Board member in 2014, I have had the honor of leading project design in the New York area for the past two years,” said Costa, in a statement. “My interior design business has recently brought me to Southwest Florida for several months at a time. During my visits, I have been quite intrigued to learn that a tremendous need exists in Fort Myers for a similar home transformation, near the new Golisano Children’s Hospital. Having this unique position of connecting with families in the community, as well as with the local Southwest Florida interior design industry, has positioned me to replicate the generosity for which we were grateful in previous years up north.”
