Job Description

Position Summary:

The Showroom Sales Representative is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience for walk-in clients by assessing their needs and assisting them in the selection of furniture and accessories. Answers all customer inquiries related to products, such as quality features, availability and/or lead-times. Prepares customer orders, processes client payments, provides invoices and warranty information.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• This candidate should create a memorable, personable experience that differentiates the Company, which inspires the customer to
return and builds loyalty to the brand.
• Completes sales transactions from qualifying the potential client, to design consultation, product selection, quote preparation,
payment processing, and follow through of delivery and set-up.
• Executes Company sales policies and practices.
• Assist in management of inventory and facility upkeep to meet the needs of the showroom within established Company standards.
• Assist showroom management team in training of sales team members.
• Assists in the display of merchandise as directed by showroom manager.

Job Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:
• 5-7 years sales experience.
• Proven track record of increasing sales in a similar showroom or retail setting.
• Broad knowledge of design and effective sales and specification techniques desired.
• Must be able to respond to/resolve common inquiries or complaints from clients.
• Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be effective at presenting product and design information in one-to-one and small group situations to consumers and
designers.
• This candidate possesses a strong work ethic demonstrated by attention to detail and completion of all tasks.
• Able to work extended hours up to and including some holidays, evenings and weekends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word,Excel,Outlook, PowerPoint).
