High-end lighting showroom located in Dallas, Texas, within the Dallas Design Center, is seeking a highly motivated Showroom Manager. Our studio operates multiple boutique showrooms in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Dallas, London, and Dubai, serving the high-end design market and specializing in custom fabrication. We are a progressive, dynamic industry leader offering a creative and energetic work environment.
Required Qualifications
• Sales experience; preferably in the lighting or furniture market, Min. 5 years with a proven performance record
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Self-motivated
• Well versed in the interior design market and trends
• Computer skills (all office programs, Salesforce experience preferred)
• Drawing or sketching visual communication skills preferred
• Familiarity with natural materials, metal and fabric components
• Familiarity or experience in custom manufacturing – specifically ground up “napkin sketch” to “one-off” production
• Positive attitude with desire to cooperatively work alongside support team
• Excellent people skills a must
• Ability to articulate both verbally and in writing. Communicating and relaying design intent from client to sales to production teams
• A desire to continually learn and improve self and organizational process & industry trends
Duties
• Sales on high-ticket bespoke residential lighting
• Interface with interior designers, architects and end-users
• Manage physical showroom & travel within sales area
• Articulate client specifications on estimates follow through to invoices
• Follow jobs through from acquisition of sale to design development and provide top notch client service throughout the process
• Interface with the design community to harvest new opportunities
• Follow market trends and compile data for corporate reviews
