Role Overview
Katha Living is seeking an experienced and technically proficient professional for Product Development and clients interface in the United States. The role requires a strong understanding of carpet and rug design, product development, market trends, and client relationship management. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and customers to develop innovative products while ensuring seamless communication and project execution.

Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate closely with the Product Development team in India on new product development, sampling, and ongoing projects.
• Act as the primary interface for clients, understanding their requirements and translating them into actionable product development plans.
• Provide technical guidance on design, weaving, color application, and product construction.
• Monitor market, design, and fashion trends to support the development of commercially successful collections.
• Conduct regular meetings with clients and internal teams to ensure timely project progress.
• Visit clients within the USA as required to strengthen relationships and support business development.
• Travel to the manufacturing facility in India 2–3 times per year to collaborate with the product development and production teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Strong technical knowledge of carpet and rug design, weaving techniques, and color application.
• Proficiency in relevant design and product development software.
• Excellent understanding of design trends, fashion, interiors, and product applications.
• Strong communication, presentation, and client management skills.
Experience
• 5+ years of relevant experience in product development within the carpet, rug, textile, or related industry.
• Exposure to fashion, textiles, home furnishings, or interior products is preferred.
Reporting
• Weekly progress updates.
• Comprehensive monthly recap.
Benefits
• Compensation: USD 75,000–90,000 per annum, plus performance-based incentives.
