Manager, Client Services & Resolutions
Company: The Future Perfect
Duration: Full-time
Date Posted: 09/15/26
Category: Office Management
Location: Remote
Salary: 50-100k
Job Description

The Manager, Client Services & Resolutions oversees The Future Perfect’s post-sale client experience, including Claims and complex concerns that arise following a purchase. This highly relationship-driven, solutions-oriented role guides clients through situations requiring additional care, coordination, and thoughtful problem solving.
At its core, the role is about service recovery and relationship building. The Manager will often become a client’s primary point of contact during an important moment in their experience with The Future Perfect, communicating with warmth, confidence, transparency, and discretion while working toward solutions that restore confidence and strengthen the relationship.
Working across Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Logistics, and our network of artists, designers, studios, manufacturers, carriers, restorers, and other specialized partners, the Manager will navigate matters ranging from delivery and product concerns to repairs, restoration, replacement parts, warranty questions, and installation-related issues.
Many works represented by The Future Perfect are handmade, collectible, limited edition, or produced using distinctive materials and processes. Resolving concerns therefore requires curiosity, creativity, nuanced judgment, and close collaboration with the people who designed and made the work.
The Manager will own complex post-sale concerns and claims from initial notification through resolution; investigate issues and determine thoughtful paths forward; coordinate repairs, restoration, replacements, inspections, specialized transportation, and other solutions; and guide sensitive client communications. They will also lead the Client Services and Claims function, mentor client-facing colleagues, manage the Claims budget, maintain comprehensive Salesforce records, and identify recurring themes and opportunities to continually improve the post-sale client experience.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate combines exceptional client instincts with strategic thinking, operational discipline, and a genuine desire to solve problems. They listen carefully, communicate with empathy and confidence, and enjoy finding creative solutions to situations that may not have an obvious answer.
They understand that exceptional service is not defined by a single type of resolution, but by making clients feel heard, cared for, and confident that their concern is being thoughtfully managed. They are equally comfortable speaking with a client, collaborating with an artist or manufacturer, coordinating across internal teams, and considering the practical and financial implications of a proposed solution.
Candidates should have 5+ years of relevant experience in client services, client experience, account management, service recovery, luxury retail, furniture, interiors, hospitality, logistics, or another high-touch client environment.
Exceptional written and verbal communication, organization, judgment, problem-solving, and negotiation skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple active clients, projects, deadlines, and external partners simultaneously.
Experience managing budgets, negotiating financial outcomes, or exercising financial judgment on behalf of an organization is strongly valued, as is experience providing leadership, mentorship, or functional oversight to colleagues.
Strong CRM proficiency is required, with Salesforce experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of furniture, lighting, collectible design, art, materials, fabrication, installation, restoration, freight, or white-glove delivery is highly valued. Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
Above all, the successful candidate takes ownership, approaches challenges with curiosity and composure, builds trust easily, and brings people together around thoughtful solutions.
