Job Description

Egg Collective is seeking a thoughtful, human forward, organized, and relationship-driven People Operations Associate to work closely with our Managing Director and oversee the day-to-day HR and admin functions that keep our teams supported and our spaces running smoothly. This role blends human resources, operations, policy and culture, ensuring that every part of the employee experience, from hiring to payroll to community, reflects our company’s values. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast paced / multi-disciplined environment, is curious, empathetic, research forward, extremely thorough and understands and holds reverence for sensitive information.

The person in this role will work closely with leadership, department managers, and individual team members to maintain systems, uphold compliance, foster a positive/engaged workplace and is able and comfortable communicating and meeting all of our team members where they are to assist in the best way possible. This is not a “normal” HR role, we believe deeply that our staff is our biggest asset and we operate from that principle every day.

Job Requirements

Manage and organize all employee records and HR documentation while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and city labor laws. Update company policies and handbooks, coordinate with PEO teams, insurance brokers, and benefit providers, and oversee workers’ compensation, disability, and paid family leave claims.

Lead full-cycle recruitment, from job postings and interviews to offer letters and onboarding. Support payroll processing, benefits administration, PTO tracking, and open enrollment. Maintain accuracy and confidentiality across HR and payroll systems.

Coordinate performance reviews, maintain job descriptions, and support employee development and goal-setting. Promote clear communication and collaboration across teams.

Oversee day-to-day office and facility operations, including vendor coordination, supply management, and upkeep of a clean, efficient workspace. Support leadership with scheduling, communications, and special projects. Act as liaison with vendors, landlords, and service providers.

Plan and manage showroom events and internal initiatives that reflect the company’s values. Foster a positive, inclusive workplace through employee engagement, recognition, and team-building activities. Serve as a trusted point of contact for staff, ensuring fairness and transparency.

Qualifications:
3–5 years in HR, operations, or executive support (creative or manufacturing experience a plus)
Familiarity with HR software and payroll systems (Paychex preferred)
Excellent communication and organization skills
Proficiency in GSuite, Dropbox, and Slack
