We are seeking a Junior Designer to work directly with the Principal in our Venice studio. This is a hands-on role in an immersive, focused environment. You will be involved in every layer of the process: from deep-dive historical research and international sourcing to technical documentation and on-site execution.
Responsibilities
Historical Research: Conduct deep-dive research into buildings, architecture, furniture, and lighting to support project-specific curation and context.
Design Presentations: Execute refined mood boards and client decks with InDesign, ensuring visual brand consistency.
Procurement Support: Work with the Design Assistant to coordinate the end-to-end procurement of furniture and materials.
Studio Support: Assist in developing material palettes and maintaining the studio’s finish library.
Contemporary Discovery: Scout and identify unique contemporary designers and emerging studios to collaborate with on custom commissions.
1 to 3 years of experience in high-end residential design.
Exceptional organization and the ability to manage multiple project timelines.
High proficiency in InDesign.
A deep, self-driven interest in design history and a proactive eye for contemporary makers.
