Ochre is a NYC-based lighting and furniture company producing high-quality, custom and made to order pieces for interior designers and clients across the U.S.
We’re looking for an experienced Production Manager to run day-to-day production, scheduling, and delivery across multiple product lines. This is a hands-on role for someone who can manage vendors, hold timelines, and keep orders moving in a made-to-order environment.
Responsibilities:
Own production schedules from PO through delivery
Manage vendors, lead times, and capacity
Coordinate materials, components, and parts
Track and resolve delays, quality issues, and exceptions
Partner with sales and logistics to set and maintain realistic lead times
Prioritize orders and manage expediting as needed
Maintain clear production/inventory records and reporting
5+ years in production, operations, or manufacturing
Experience with custom or made-to-order products strongly preferred
Proven vendor management and follow-through
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
Clear, direct communicator who takes ownership
