Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Jr. Sales & Marketing Associate to join the GARDE team at our Los Angeles showroom. Working closely with ownership, you will execute our email marketing program, manage our online presence and e-commerce platform, and deliver an exceptional, high-touch client experience on the showroom floor. The ideal candidate is a polished, career-driven professional with a proven track record in luxury sales or marketing, a genuine passion for design, and the ability to build and grow meaningful relationships within the trade.

Qualifications & Experience

- 2–4 years of experience in luxury sales, marketing, or a client-facing role — ideally within home furnishings, interiors, or a closely related field
- Proven success in high-end retail or showroom sales, with a demonstrated ability to build and grow relationships with designers, architects, and discerning clientele
- Hands-on experience building and managing email marketing campaigns — from concept and copywriting through to deployment and performance analysis
- Experience with Klaviyo, Shopify, and Lightspeed preferred
- Comfort with CRM tools: list management, segmentation, and client follow-up workflows
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to write with a refined, luxury brand voice
- A keen eye for aesthetics and the ability to speak knowledgeably and enthusiastically about design, furniture, and lighting
- Polished, professional presence with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to connect authentically with an upscale clientele
- Highly organized and proactive — you can see what needs to be done and do it
- A collaborative mindset and genuine enthusiasm for working closely with a small, passionate team
- Existing relationships with designers, architects, or trade professionals are a significant advantage

Job Requirements

**Email Marketing**
- Build and execute email campaigns in collaboration with ownership — including copywriting, audience segmentation, scheduling, and performance reporting
- Develop content calendar suggestions aligned with new arrivals and designer collaborations for ownership review and approval
- Track and analyze key metrics (open rates, click-through, conversions) and apply data-informed thinking to continuously improve results

**E-Commerce & Website**
- Manage and maintain product listings, imagery, and content across GARDE's website to ensure accuracy and a polished online experience
- Identify opportunities to improve product presentation and the customer journey online, in collaboration with ownership
- Monitor site performance and surface areas for improvement

**Sales & Client Relations**
- Deliver exceptional, high-touch service to create memorable client experiences from first contact through close
- Develop in-depth product knowledge across GARDE's full offering — furniture, lighting, textiles, and accessories — and share that knowledge with confidence and enthusiasm
- Guide clients through tailored product selections, offering thoughtful recommendations that speak to their unique needs and aesthetic
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships through personalized engagement, consistent follow-up, and proactive outreach
- Identify, pursue, and cultivate key accounts and prospects within the design community — including interior designers, architects, and design-forward individuals
- Respond promptly and professionally to inbound inquiries via phone and email, ensuring an exceptional client experience at every touchpoint
- Drive sales by proactively pursuing opportunities and maintaining a goal-oriented, results-driven approach
