Helen Bergin Interiors, a boutique interior design firm based in Palm Beach, seeking a highly skilled architectural designer to join its expanding team. Founded by Helen Bergin in 2015, the studio is a full-service design team passionate about creative design and storytelling.
We are seeking a creative and self-motivated individual who is interested in working in a collaborative team environment on the full spectrum of project typologies – from ground-up construction to interior renovations to custom furniture and lighting. We work both on residential and hospitality spaces.
Responsibilities:
Works alongside Principal to prepare conceptual design, schematic design, architectural drawings, renderings, presentations and construction documents and schedules
Manages time and tasks to ensure project deliverables are met
Maintain & monitor project profitability and schedule adherence
Coordinate and manage project communications, contracts, budgets and schedules
Liaise with subcontractors, vendors & other 3rd parties
Identify the client's project goals, objectives and communicate this information to the project team
Oversee production of all custom furnishings, manage all relevant manufacturers, and insure timely delivery of product for job installations
Shopping for furniture, lighting, fabrics, carpets, paint, wallcovering, accessories
Installation of Furniture and Furnishings
Preparation of Proposals, Purchase Orders, and Tracking
Outreach to prospective architects, developers, builders

Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture or a related discipline
- 3 to 6 years of architectural-related experience, a focus on high-end residential and/or hospitality
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, 3D modeling (Rhino or SketchUp) and renderings
- Must have strong design and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively within a team, as well as ability to self-manage to meet project goals and deliverables.
- Ability to achieve tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills – visually, orally and in writing.
